Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership & Reporting
- Lead full-cycle financial management: AR/AP, bank reconciliations, GL entries, payments, and GST submissions.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements ensuring IFRS/GAAP compliance liaise with auditors and tax advisors.
Strategic Finance & Controls
- Develop budgets, forecasts, cash flow projections, and perform variance analysis.
- Monitor working capital and FX exposures recommend hedging strategies as needed.
- Maintain robust internal control systems and ensure regulatory and compliance adherence.
Leadership & Team Oversight
- Manage, coach, and develop a small finance team (1-2), setting KPIs and driving high performance and accountability.
System Management & SAP Expertise
- Implement and oversee financial processes via ERP systems strong SAP proficiency required.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Advisory
- Partner across departments, offering financial insights to guide strategic decisions and drive process improvements.
- Support the broader business with ad-hoc financial projects and insights.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or ACCA preferred.
- 5+ years of finance experience, preferably within the marine or chemical sector.
- Demonstrated expertise with SAP and general ERP systems.
- Proven leadership experience managing a small team.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Familiar with Singapore financial regulations, tax laws, and IFRS/GAAP standards.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapt rapidly to evolving priorities.
