Finance Manager, buyside asset management (Work from home)

Our client is a boutique asset management firm that specializes in credit and special situations investment. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a Finance Manager, the role will work from home and the role is based in Singapore.

Key responsibilities

. Manage and oversee fund finance and corporate accounting for the firm

. Liaise with fund administrators to prepare and review fund accounting reports, capital accounts such as capital calls/distribution notice, investor reports etc

. Monitor cashflow such as payments, reimbursement, invoices etc

. Maintain and update of investment and expense documents and schedules

. Prepare and review financial and management reporting, manage month-end closing and consolidation of management accounts

. Liaise with auditors, tax advisors to perform audit, tax and regulatory filings

. Maintain bank and custodian accounts and review banking transactions

. Work with the senior management in budgeting and financial forecasting

. Liaise with corporate secretary providers on board resolutions and meetings

. Assist in investor onboarding, KYC etc

. Other ad-hoc finance and operations tasks when necessary

Key requirements

. At least 10 years of fund accounting and corporate accounting experience preferably in private equity/venture capital funds

. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other accounting qualifications

. Adaptability to work in a small team environment, the role will be mainly work from home

. Independent and organized that can manage the finance function properly

. Motivated and reliable that can provide a good support to the senior management

. Good communications and analytical skills
