Job Description

Job Summary

As a Brand Director, you will lead brand strategies to grow sales, market share, and brand equity by aligning with consumer preferences. You will collaborate across functions to drive innovation, marketing plans, and business results for global brands.

Responsibilities

  • Lead brand equity development by creating and executing strategies that increase brand awareness and consumer preference
  • Deliver business drivers by setting and achieving sales, share, and profitability targets for assigned brands
  • Analyze consumer insights, shopper behavior, and market data to inform brand growth opportunities
  • Develop and implement data analytics to measure marketing effectiveness and optimize campaigns
  • Build and maintain partnerships with internal teams and external agencies to align brand messaging and execution
  • Manage financial aspects of the brand, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L accountability for large-scale business units ( $200-250 million)
  • Identify market opportunities and drive innovation to expand brand portfolio and consumer engagement
  • Coach and train cross-functional teams to enhance brand management capabilities and leadership skills

Required competencies and certifications

  • Experience managing design and media agencies to deliver integrated marketing campaigns
  • Proven P&L management experience overseeing large business units
  • At least 10 years of experience in brand management, including brand equity development, business driver delivery, financial management, and innovation
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the FMCG industry
  • Experience working across multiple APAC markets
  • MBA or degree in Business Administration, Advertising, Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Communication
  • Strong forward-thinking, strategic, and courageous leadership skills
