The Role
As a key driver of business success, the Corporate Director, Global Sales Operations will drive and lead strategic planning, implement growth and scalability initiatives aligned with corporate strategy in order to achieve the vision and targets.
The role will provide strategic thought leadership across all business units and organizations to enhance the competitiveness how we are at, and ensuring all enablers to drive penetrating, retaining and growing revenue, and establishing cohesion across all disciplines and functions to achieve our strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Executive team, Sales leadership and Services leadership on the definition of revenue strategy and critical strategic and operational initiatives designed to maximize revenue acquisition, retention and growth.
- Provides leadership to the sales organization, and counsel to the Senior VP of Sales, in implementing sales organization objectives and appropriately reflect the corporate's business goals.
- Continuously drive innovation to strengthen and enhance the effectiveness of company-wide sales operations initiatives to company goals and objectives ensure that various departments and individual strategies that support revenue enablement are working in concert toward company goals.
- Own the end-to-end procedure and process of tracking the sales funnel / process and operational metrics as well as identify and deliver techniques to improve funnel performance for sales management.
- Provide analytics / leverage data and insights to improve prioritization and analysis of organizational initiatives, including the measurement of realized vs forecasted impact of key revenue initiatives.
- Evaluate performance to objectives and work with stakeholders to ensure proper and effective countermeasures are in place.
- Develop and manage KPIs, sales analysis tools and other reports as necessary to effectively manage performance to monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Serve as leader for cross-functional initiatives, partnering with stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, Product BUs for initiative execution and project management.
- Lead communication across the business to ensure there is alignment and accountability on revenue strategies.
- Optimize customer segmentation and create a plan to enhance renewal and upsell processes alongside the leadership team.
- Partner with Sales and Product BUs to maximize the creation of qualified sales opportunities.
- Provide thought leadership and assist in the creation and improvements of global procedures and processes, training, and customer engagement methodologies to be best in class.
- Manage and maintain sales process adherence and accountability with Sales team members.
- Maintain a holistic view of our operations and associated technology, e.g. CRM.
Strategic Responsibilities
- In conjunction with the SeniorLeadership team, develop a vision and strategic plan for the Salesorganizations based on past success, current competitive environment, andfuture market trends.
- Advise the stakeholders of marketopportunities and facilitate opportunities in the market.
- Contribute to senior management'sknowledge of product / market.
- In parallel, evaluate performances to ensure that proper and effective strategic measurements are in place.
Operational Responsibilities
- Drive sales activities to achieve or exceed business objectives, sales growth, and profitability targets. Other business targets will include revenue, market share, and success of penetration.
- Collaboration with the global leaders cross functions. Partner with global leaders in other functions such as Finance, IT, HR and Legal.
- Ensure 100% compliance in all aspects of business conducted internally or externally facing.
- Ensure the use of FBS and other tools for direct planning, monitoring, problem solving and reporting of results against plans and budgets.
- Ensure that the operating objectives and standards of performance are not only understood but also owned by the management team and other associates.
People Development Responsibilities
- Identify and grow sales talents throughout regions.
- Define roles and responsibilities, set performance and development goals, motivate and coach team.
- Implement training strategies and sales plans that motivate team execution.
- Give feedback to all team members on a regular basis and develop talent within the team to ensure effective succession planning and career development.
Requirements
- Adept at thinking strategically, organizing and illustrating those thoughts and translating plans into actions.
- Possess the ability to self-direct and prioritize among competing goals and exhibit flexibility in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution skills, and drive end-to-end solutions especially for problems may be only vaguely defined and require understanding and consideration of other disciplines and job areas.
- Results driven, energetic, collaborative and proactive a leader who can positively and productively impact both strategic and tactical finance and administration initiatives.
- Solid knowledge and experience in semiconductor / capital equipment industry (master's degree preferred, with10-15 years of experiences including 7+ years in a leadership role).
- Demonstrated ability to achieve breakthrough results through the course of work.
