Role DescriptionThe Chief Technology Officer (CTO) / Head of Technology is responsible for leading the technology strategy, innovation, and development across the organization. This role focuses on aligning technology initiatives with business goals, overseeing engineering teams, and ensuring the company's technology infrastructure supports growth and scalability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute the organization's technology strategy in alignment with business objectives
- Lead, mentor, and manage engineering, IT, and product development teams
- Oversee software development, infrastructure, and IT operations
- Evaluate emerging technologies and implement solutions that drive innovation
- Ensure system security, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with executive leadership on technology-driven business opportunities
- Manage technology budgets, resources, and vendor relationships
- Establish technology policies, standards, and best practices
- Monitor KPIs, track performance, and report on technology initiatives to stakeholders
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master's or MBA preferred)
- Proven experience in senior technology leadership roles, such as CTO, Head of Technology, or VP of Engineering
- Strong knowledge of software development, cloud computing, IT infrastructure, and emerging technologies
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align technology initiatives to business objectives
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and large-scale technology projects
- Understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and technology governance
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to drive innovation, digital transformation, and organizational change
