ROLE
The COO will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, efficient execution of strategy, and alignment of resources across all functions. This position requires a balance of strategic vision and operational discipline, ideally with experience in e-commerce, consultancy, or project management.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and articulate the long-term vision and mission of the school, ensuring alignment with the board's objectives and the school's educational philosophy.
- Formulate strategic plans to guide the school's growth, sustainability, and positioning in the competitive international education market.
- Identify new opportunities for expansion, partnerships, and program development
- Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to anticipate trends and adjust strategies proactively.
- Align financial, operational, and academic goals to achieve sustainable growth.
- Build strategic partnerships with investors, education bodies, government agencies, and global institutions.
- Oversee brand development and market positioning to attract students, faculty, and partners.
- Establish performance metrics (KPIs) to measure the success of strategic initiatives and ensure accountability.
- Balance short-term operational needs with long-term institutional goals, ensuring agility in decision-making.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Management, or related field.
- 10+ years of operational leadership experience across large and small organizations.
- Prior exposure to both client-side and consultancy environments.
- Experience in e-commerce, PMO, or education management strongly preferred.
- Strong execution skills with proven ability to manage complex projects.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English additional languages an advantage.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced international school environment.
