. Plan, schedule, and oversee calibration activities (in-house, on-site, or external)
. Arrange appointments for testing equipment that is due for calibration
. Ensure all laboratory equipment is calibrated according to required specifications and standards
. Issue shipment forms, pack, and label equipment for return after calibration.
. Maintain and update records for all documentation related to the calibration process
. Conduct detailed inspections, calibrations, adjustments, and testing/repairs of equipment.
. Oversee and assess the effectiveness of calibration procedures
. Perform calibration and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic instruments.
. Document calibration results and generate calibration certificates.
. Ensure all equipment is calibrated within due dates and maintain proper records.
. Investigate and resolve equipment performance issues and anomalies.
. Support audit and quality system requirements (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 9001).
. Liaise with internal departments and external vendors for calibration services and coordination.
. Maintain and update the calibration database/system.
. Ensure adherence to safety procedures and best engineering practices.
. Ad hoc jobs as assigned by Management
. Candidate must possess at least Higher Nitec or Diploma in Engineering in any field preferably in Electronic, Electrical or Mechanic
. Working experience in production & manufacturing is an advantage
. Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge
. Good attention to detail and analytical skills.
. Strong documentation and reporting skills.
. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
. Class 3 license is an advantage
