Develop and execute market entry, growth, and account strategies for the China market to meet revenue, margin, and pipeline targets.
Identify, acquire, and manage key customers, distributors, and strategic partners in China, including negotiation of commercial terms and contracts in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, customer needs, and regulatory or policy developments impacting the business in China.
Coordinate with product, marketing, operations, and finance teams in Singapore and the region to localise offerings and ensure seamless delivery to customers in China.
Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and business reviews for internal stakeholders, highlighting risks and mitigation plans.
Ensure all activities comply with relevant laws and company policies, including sanctions, export controls, data protection, and antibribery/anticorruption requirements in China.
Master Degree in International Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, key account management, or market development, with a strong track record in the China market.
Proven experience working with Chinese customers, partners, or distributors, and familiarity with local business practices, negotiation styles, and commercial norms.
Strong proficiency in English, and business-level proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and review Chinamarket documentation language requirement is tied strictly to job needs and not used to exclude any nationality.
Strong market analysis, problemsolving, and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities across different cultures and functions.
Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and drive results in a fastpaced, crossborder environment.
