Our client is a regionally established maritime organization with headquarters in Asia, seeking a Business Analyst to support management decision-making through performance analysis, KPI tracking, and data-driven insights.
This role sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and data analytics, working closely with business leaders to track OGSM/OKR progress, enhance data visibility, and drive continuous performance improvement.
Due to close collaboration with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, Chinese language proficiency is required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze monthly financial performance, including variance analysis against budget and prior periods
- Track and report departmental KPIs, OGSM, and OKRs build dashboards for management visibility
- Identify key business drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities
- Partner with business leaders to support strategic planning and performance reviews
- Provide decision support through cost-benefit analysis, scenario planning, and insights
- Develop and automate reports using Power BI, Excel, and related analytics tools
- Improve reporting processes, data quality, and efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of external audit experience, preferably with a Big 4 firm
- Exposure to data analysis or data visualization (Power BI experience required Power Apps/Automate is a plus)
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
- Good communication skills in English Mandarin proficiency required for stakeholder interaction
- Proactive, accountable, and eager to learn new systems and technologies
