Role OverviewWe are seeking a Business Analyst (Junior/Mid-Level) with 12 years of hands-on experience in FinTech or Financial Services, preferably with exposure to Investment Holdings, Family Offices, or Merchant Banking. This role is ideal for a candidate who has early-stage domain experience and is eager to grow while working closely with senior stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities- Support requirement gathering and analysis by working with business stakeholders and senior BAs/Product Managers.
- Document business and functional requirements including BRDs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Gain deep understanding of investment lifecycle workflows, portfolio structures, and financial reporting.
- Assist in translating business requirements into clear inputs for development and QA teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and backlog grooming.
- Support UAT execution, defect tracking, and requirement validations.
- Maintain clear documentation using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Mandatory Domain ExposureCandidates must have exposure (project, client, or product-based) to at least one of the following domains:
- Investment Holdings
- Family Offices
- Merchant Banking
Understanding of investment products, portfolios, reporting, or transaction workflows is required.
Required Skills & Qualifications- 12 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in FinTech / Financial Services.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of financial concepts, investment operations, and data workflows.
- Ability to write structured and clear documentation (user stories, process flows, BRDs).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn domain, product, and regulatory nuances quickly.
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, or similar tools.
Good to Have- Exposure to compliance or regulatory requirements in financial services.
- Experience working with dashboards, reports, or financial data.
- Prior experience working with geographically distributed teams.
