Our client is looking for a Business Analyst responsible for designing, developing and executing business plans based on analysis. Candidate would have the opportunity to get a hands-on experience in the lifecycle while working with cross-functional teams.
Main Responsibilities
Functional Analysis:
- Work with clients to understand business processes and gather requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
- Support solution design by liaising between internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform gap analysis and propose enhancements or solutions.
- Create and maintain functional documentation.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on requirements.
- Conduct various types of testing: system, integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), regression.
- Manage defect lifecycle: raise, track, and retest fixes.
- Ensure solutions meet business needs and comply with quality standards.
- Collaborate with users to facilitate UAT and obtain sign-offs.
Project Delivery & Support:
- Assist in deployment and post-go-live support.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Provide input for effort estimation and timeline planning.
- Work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams across geographies.
Qualifications and Profile
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Stakeholder management and facilitation skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Financial or SAP experience/background is preferred.
Good to have skills (Optional):
- Experience in a similar functional role
- Experience in SDLC, Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficient in tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, TestRail, or equivalent.
- Efficient in using Microsoft Office, especially Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and PowerPoint (e.g., executive-level presentation design).
