Job Profile: AWS Network Engineer

Location: Singapore

Employment Type: 12 months (extendable)

Preferred experience: 3 years

The Role

We are looking for a experienced AWS Network Engineers to support a large-scale government project in Singapore. The ideal candidates will have strong expertise in AWS networking, cloud security, and firewall technologies, with proven experience working in regulated or government environments.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage AWS network architectures, including VPCs, subnets, routing, and connectivity

Configure and maintain secure network solutions aligned with government and regulatory compliance standards

Implement and manage firewall solutions, including next-generation firewalls

Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based network infrastructure

Collaborate with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Troubleshoot network and security issues across AWS environments

Support audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews as required.

Must - Have Qualifications:

Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing AWS network architectures (VPCs, subnets, routing, gateways, and connectivity)

Proven ability to configure and maintain secure cloud network solutions aligned with government and regulatory compliance standards

Solid experience implementing and managing firewall solutions, including next-generation firewalls

Expertise in ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based network infrastructure

Ability to work cross-functionally with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Strong troubleshooting skills for network and security issues across AWS environments

Experience supporting audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certifications:

AWS Certified AdvancedNetworking Specialty; or

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate/Professional

Firewall Expertise:

Palo AltoNetworks Certified Next-Generation FirewallEngineer

Security & Compliance Experience:

Hands-on experience with security and compliance frameworks relevant to government and regulated environments
