AWS Network Engineer

AWS Network ENGINEER

We are seeking an AWS Network Engineer to support and enhance our cloud and network infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining secure, reliable connectivity across hybrid environments, with a focus on Palo Alto security and AWS cloud networking.

Core Responsibilities

• Security Management: Manage and maintain Palo Alto Firewalls and GlobalProtect VPN to ensure robust perimeter security.

• Cloud Networking: Configure, monitor, and optimize AWS networking components, including VPCs, Security Groups, Route Tables, and NAT Gateways.

• Incident Response: Address network-related incidents and service requests promptly, following established ITIL practices.

• Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams to implement and maintain secure connectivity solutions.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all network configurations, operational procedures, and change logs.

• Communication: Coordinate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders to provide technical updates and support.

Qualifications & Skills

• Hands-on Experience: Proven experience managing Palo Alto firewalls and VPN configurations.

• Cloud Proficiency: Practical experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS networking services (VPC, Load Balancers, etc.).

• Process Knowledge: A working understanding of ITIL processes, specifically Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

• Technical Communication: Strong skills in technical documentation and the ability to communicate complex networking concepts to diverse teams.

• Education/Certification: A relevant certification in AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or Network Administration (e.g., CCNA, PCNSA) is highly advantageous.
