Job Description

Job Summary

EU Holidays is seeking an Assistant IT Manager to support the company's digital transformation initiatives and business systems. The role will be responsible for coordinating technology projects, managing vendors, supporting business applications, and ensuring successful delivery of digital solutions across the organization.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external technology partners to drive system improvements, oversee implementation projects, and support the adoption of new technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.

This role focuses on project coordination, system ownership, vendor management, and technology governance rather than software development.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Transformation & Project Management

  • Support the planning, implementation, and enhancement of digital transformation initiatives across the company.
  • Coordinate project activities with external vendors, consultants, and internal business stakeholders.
  • Monitor project timelines, deliverables, risks, and issues to ensure successful project execution.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, testing, and user acceptance activities.
  • Review functional requirements, system designs, and proposed solutions to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Assist in the implementation of AI, automation, CRM, ERP, loyalty, and customer-facing platforms.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary liaison between EU Holidays and external technology vendors.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure deliverables meet agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Coordinate issue resolution, system enhancements, and support requests with vendors.
  • Assist in contract reviews, maintenance renewals, and procurement activities.

Business Systems & Applications

  • Support and administer business-critical systems including:
  1. Tour Management System (TMS)
  2. CRM and Loyalty Platforms
  3. Membership Systems
  4. Website and Online Booking Platforms
  5. AI and Automation Solutions
  6. Microsoft 365 Environment
  • Gather and document business requirements for system enhancements.
  • Support testing, deployment, and rollout of new features and solutions.
  • Maintain system documentation, user guides, and operational procedures.

Technology Governance & Security

  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and PDPA requirements.
  • Participate in system audits, security reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor system access controls and user permissions.
  • Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning activities.

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Develop and maintain operational and management reports.
  • Support dashboard and reporting automation initiatives.
  • Analyze business processes and recommend technology-driven improvements.
  • Work with business teams to improve productivity and operational efficiency through digital solutions.

User Support & Training

  • Coordinate user training and system adoption programs.
  • Provide Level 2 support and coordinate escalation with vendors where necessary.
  • Assist users in resolving system-related issues and enquiries.

Job Requirements

Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Candidates with relevant professional certifications and strong industry experience will be an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT project management, business systems, ERP/CRM implementation, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience managing external vendors and software implementation projects.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications and cloud-based solutions.
  • Experience in the travel, tourism, hospitality, or service industry will be an advantage.

Technical Knowledge

Familiarity with:

  • ERP and CRM platforms
  • Cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or equivalent)
  • Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • API integrations and automation tools
  • AI and emerging technologies
  • Cybersecurity and data protection practices
  • Reporting and business intelligence tools
