Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with the hotel's goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with the Executive Committee to identify technology needs and explore opportunities for innovation.
- Oversee and manage IT maintenance contracts ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Design, implement, and maintain the organisation's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and systems.
- Control and manage the IT department budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Evaluate, recommend, and oversee investments in new technology to support business growth.
- Ensure hardware and software are well maintained and kept up-to-date.
- Perform and monitor regular data backups for security and recovery purposes.
- Ensure compliance with legal, data protection, and PCI requirements.
- Keep all systems updated with the latest security patches to minimize risks.
- Provide technical support to colleagues, guests and stakeholders, troubleshooting issues promptly.
- Develop and deliver training programs related to IT, systems, and cybersecurity.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate the performance of IT systems, identifying areas for improvement.
- Stay informed of industry technological advancements and recommend relevant updates.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology or the equivalent
- Candidate must have at least three (3) or more years of IT experience in a hotel in Singapore
- This is an independent role reporting to Director of Finance
- Ability to multitask, work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
