Role:
To provide on-site technical leadership for hotel IT systems, support critical infrastructure, and act as a key resource bridging vendor support and in-house needs, ensuring continuous, secure, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure (network, WiFi, servers, security systems).
- Manage integrations and configurations of key hotel systems (PMS, POS, guest tech, IPTV, etc.).
- Perform system health checks and preventive maintenance to minimize disruptions.
- Manage hotels technology assets, including hardware lifecycle and software licensing.
- Coordinate with vendors and ensure timely resolution, overseeing their performance and technical quality.
- Provide L2/L3 technical support, working closely with vendors for escalations and project implementations.
- Support audits, data backup/restoration, and IT security enforcement.
- Participate in new tech initiatives, upgrades, and integration projects aligned with the hotels innovation roadmap.
- Maintain detailed documentation of technical setups and standard operating procedures.
- Support audits, DR drills, and compliance activities.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members as needed.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
- 35 years of experience in a technical IT role, preferably in hospitality or service sectors.
- Strong knowledge of networking, Windows Server environments, and virtualization.
- Familiarity with hotel systems such as Opera, Micros, and guest-facing technologies is a plus.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
- Flexible to support 24/7 operations (on-call rotation may apply).
