Responsibilities:
- Manage full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
- Perform monthly and year-end closing activities
- Prepare and file GST returns accurately and on time
- Maintain proper accounting schedules and records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Coordinate with external auditors and prepare required documentation to facilitate annual audit processes
- Liaise with tax agent, company secretary, and other government agencies
- Manage staff claims, petty cash, and expense tracking
- Manage employee records, onboarding and offboarding processes, and work pass application
- Process monthly payroll, CPF submission, and income tax clearance
- Administer leave records, claims, benefits, and staff insurance
- Maintain HR documents, employment contracts, and staff files
- Support Project team with project administration
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in Construction Industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Accounting Software (E.g. MYOB, Xero)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work both independently and in groups, and able to meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in English is required to communicate effectively across departments
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage, as the role involves interaction with Mandarin-speaking associates
