Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Maintain a full set of accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the general ledger.
Handle tax matters, including quarterly GST filings and corporate income tax.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts.
Support internal and external audits.
Work with the finance team and other departments to keep financial data accurate and current.
Identify process improvement opportunities and implement more efficient financial practices.
Degree or professional qualification in Accounting or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in a full-cycle accounting role; experience in the construction industry is an advantage.
Solid understanding of financial accounting principles, including GST regulations and reporting requirements.
Proficient with ABSS (MYOB) and QuickBooks accounting software.
Good knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial best practices.
