Accountant (GL)

About the Company

We are a well-established Chinese enterprise with strong operations in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region. Our group is engaged in diversified business activities including trading, manufacturing, and investment holdings. Due to business expansion, we are seeking a capable and detail-oriented Accountant (General Ledger) to join our finance team and support group accounting and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities

. Maintain full set of accounts and general ledger for assigned entities
. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing
. Perform balance sheet schedules and account reconciliations
. Prepare journal entries, accruals, and prepayments
. Assist in preparation of management reports and financial statements
. Support audit, tax, and regulatory compliance matters
. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and internal stakeholders
. Assist in intercompany reconciliation and consolidation schedules
. Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS)

Requirements

. Degree in Accountancy or related discipline

. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant GL accounting experience

. Hands-on experience in full set of accounts and month-end closing

. Familiar with SFRS and Singapore statutory requirements

. Experience in group accounting or multi-entity environment preferred

. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

. Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines

. Proficiency in Mandarin and English required to liaise with Chinese-speaking
stakeholders and HQ
