Responsibilities
Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and providing timely reporting to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial and management reports, and perform variance analysis
- Prepare monthly reporting packages to Holding Company
- Manage statutory audit and prepare annual financial statements in compliance with SFRS
- Prepare schedules and provide support to Group Finance and Tax Team
- Provide support for internal audit and corporate compliance
- Prepare and submit surveys to government authorities (e.g. Department of Statistics, EDB) with specified deadlines
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting/ACCA or equivalent to 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of SFRS and core accounting principles
- Audit experience in Big 4 is an added advantage
- Experience in SAP and Hyperion (HFM) preferred
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Positive work attitude, self-starter, and able to work independently as well as in a team
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Meticulous with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
