WSH Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Identify any unsafe condition or unsafe act which is carried out in the worksite.
• Recommend and assist the Occupier of the worksite to implement reasonable and practicable measures.
• Liaise with different departments on all safety and health matters.
• Conduct regular site inspections and takes appropriate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health Regulations and other legislative requirements.
• Enforce all WSH requirements and in-house rules and regulations.
• Assist in the investigations and reporting of accidents/ incidents and recommend corrective and prevetive actions.
• Conduct training/ meeting/ briefing/ time-out to the workforce.
• Follow up on submission of SHE documents.
• Monitor the SHE performance in the worksite.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Certificate in Advanced Certificate in WSH Level B and/or any relevant Safety Certificates from any local approved institutions will be preferred.
• With at least 3 years of working experience in the construction industry such as infrastructure or building project.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment.
• Working at West office first and will move to Bayfront site office when ready.
