Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook stir-fry dishes using a wok, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation
  • Operate and maintain wok stations, including proper heat control and timing
  • Follow all recipes and portion control guidelines accurately.
  • Ensure all food items are stored,handled, and prepared in accordance with food safety standards
  • Collaborate with other kitchenstaff to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organizationof the wok station and surrounding areas
  • Monitor inventory and communicateshortages or needs to the kitchen supervisor
  • Assist with prep work and otherduties as needed.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Superior from time to time

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role preferred
  • Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
  • Ableto perform spilt shift, work on weekends and public holidays
  • Abilityto work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for longperiods
  • Strongattention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
