Wholesale Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate market trends, customer demand, and sales data to determine purchasing needs

• Source products from domestic and international suppliers

• Negotiate prices, terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with vendors

• Place purchase orders and monitor order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery

• Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid overstocking or shortages

• Evaluate product quality and supplier performance

• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and inventory teams to align purchasing strategies

• Track pricing, margins, and profitability of merchandise

• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations

• Maintain accurate purchasing records and reports

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Business or related discipline
• Minimum 4 years of experience in B2B sales, wholesale brand consumer products with a preference for the industry
• Preferably posses own transport. Required to travel from time to time
• Willing to do rotating shift work (Mostly nightshift)
• Able to work longer hours with prolonged period of standing. Must work on weekends/PH. (Strictly off on week days)
• Field work required. Need to do delivery if driver is off / medical leave or urgency of goods when required
• Must have knowledge to control storage room temperatures for fruits and vegetables.
• Experience in purchasing, buying, or merchandising (retail or wholesale preferred)
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and market data
• Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes
• Proficiency in purchasing software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
