Key Duties & Responsibilities
Customer Service
Greet customers warmly and guide them to their tables
Present menus and explain daily specials
Answer questions about food, drinks, and ingredients
Order Taking & Serving
Take accurate food and beverage orders
Enter orders into the POS system
Serve food and drinks promptly and correctly
Check in with customers to ensure satisfaction
Table Management
Set up tables before service (cutlery, napkins, glassware)
Clear and clean tables after customers leave
Reset tables quickly for the next guests
Billing & Payments
Prepare and present bills
Handle cash, card, or digital payments accurately
Teamwork
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
Assist colleagues during busy periods
Communicate special requests or dietary needs clearly
Hygiene & Safety
Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Comply with health and safety regulations
Skills & Requirements
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for billing
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Previous experience (preferred but not always required)
