Business Function

Group Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing, and research to differentiate - and elevate - our brand from the rest of the competition.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a driven, high-caliber, consulting-trained VP with strong stakeholder management capabilities to join our Enterprise Performance Marketing & Marketing Platforms team.

This role translates strategy into structured, outcome-driven execution across markets, regional stakeholders, and Enterprise marketing platform teams, distilling complex ideas into clear narratives, establishing disciplined governance, and ensuring measurable marketing outcomes, particularly in support of Consumer Banking & Wealth Management (CBGWM) priorities.

Combining structured strategic thinking, hands-on program delivery experience, and Martech fluency, the successful candidate will ensure initiatives are effectively implemented, aligned with business priorities, and translated into tangible business impact. The role requires strong cross-functional orchestration, execution discipline, and ability to drive value realization across marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track, measure the value from adoption of marketing platform capabilities for use cases, consolidate outcomes delivered across performance marketing and other use cases
  • Lead and coordinate key marketing initiatives aligned to CBGWM business priorities, ensuring clear accountability, structured workplans, cross-market alignment, and disciplined execution
  • Serve as PMO lead for identified key CBGWM marketing platform initiatives (e.g. Tracking & measurements tools onboarding, migration etc.,) to manage CBGWM stakeholders for planning, requirements and closure
    • Develop high-quality executive materials on project updates that distil complex cross-functional topics into clear decision points, trade-offs, and recommendations. Establish reporting standards and executive updates that provide transparent, actionable insights on progress, risks, and value delivered
    • Drive structured governance to ensure timely implementation and market readiness for rollout and adoption
    • Accountable to ensure requirements are value driven, requirement grooming, testing coordination, timely closure of roadblocks to delivery for assigned key projects
  • Consolidate the new demand from CBGWM stakeholders for platform capabilities, work with enterprise marketing platform product owners to prioritize and manage the demand backlog aligned to business objectives
  • Translate initiative intent into market-ready guidance (objectives, measurement approach, playbooks) and champion best practices and capability uplift across markets
  • Stay informed on industry best practices and emerging Martech, GenAI, and Agentic AI trends, recommending improvements to our ecosystem

Requirements

  • Strong consulting, strategy, or transformation background with structured problem-solving capability and ability to frame ambiguity into clear, actionable workplans
  • Proven delivery experience leading end-to-end implementation of large-scale marketing / MarTech / digital initiatives, including planning, execution, rollout readiness, stakeholder coordination, and post-launch review
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly and be hands on with development if needed (click stream analytics dashboards, performance measurement of marketing campaigns etc.,)
  • Excellent executive storytelling and presentation skills, with a proven ability to distil complex technical and cross-functional topics into clear decision points, trade-offs, and actionable recommendations
  • Strong program management (PMO) experience across multi-stakeholder environments, with demonstrated ability to manage scope, milestones, risks, dependencies, and governance cadence
  • Prior experience and working knowledge of marketing technology ecosystems and digital marketing measurement fundamentals (e.g., click stream analytics, content mgmt, AdTech tools)
  • Experience driving cross-functional initiatives involving business, technology, data governance, vendors, and market stakeholders; able to influence without direct authority
  • Strong commercial/value mindset, able to define success metrics, track outcomes, and translate initiatives into measurable business value and adoption impact
  • High ownership, attention to detail, and ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
  • Proactive approach to staying informed on emerging MarTech, GenAI, and Agentic AI trends, with a track record of recommending and implementing ecosystem improvements
