Baptist Medical Group is seeking an experienced Vice President of Behavioral Health Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership for Behavioral Health services in Jacksonville, Fl.
This executive leadership role is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the clinical and business operations of Baptist Medical Group Behavioral Health while supporting growth, operational excellence, physician partnerships, and patient experience initiatives.
We are seeking a dynamic healthcare executive with extensive behavioral health leadership experience, strong physician relationship management skills, and a proven ability to lead operational strategy in a complex healthcare environment. Vice President Of Behavioral Health Operations, Job Responsibilities
Provide executive leadership and operational oversight for Baptist Medical Group Behavioral Health services and practice operations.
Partner closely with physician and clinical leaders to align operational performance with clinical quality and patient care initiatives.
Lead strategic growth initiatives, including expansion of existing services, development of new practice locations, and integration of community practices into the network.
Oversee operational areas including practice management support, revenue cycle operations, physician compensation management, quality improvement initiatives, technology implementations, and operational performance.
Support physician recruitment efforts, physician contract negotiations, and service line development initiatives.
Serve as the executive lead for Behavioral Health technology and operational improvement projects.
Champion patient experience and quality initiatives while driving operational excellence and performance improvement efforts.
Collaborate with Baptist Health leadership, physician partners, and community stakeholders to support organizational goals and strategic priorities.
Serve as a liaison with legislators, regulatory agencies, and community organizations to advocate for behavioral health access and services.
Monitor healthcare industry trends, legislative changes, and regulatory updates impacting behavioral health operations and strategy.
Experience Requirements
10+ years of behavioral healthcare management experience required.
10+ years of physician relationship management experience required.
Revenue Cycle Operations Experience Required.
Experience leading operational growth initiatives and complex healthcare operations required.
Experience with healthcare strategy, operational improvement, and physician practice management preferred.
Education & Credential Requirements
Government relations, advocacy, and community partnership experience preferred.
Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Health Administration (MHA), or related advanced degree required.
Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) preferred.
Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) certification preferred.
