- The Assistant Vice President of Group Corporate Office will report to the Group Chief Corporate Officer (GCCO) and play a pivotal role in supporting the structuring, alignment, and execution of key strategic initiatives across IHH Healthcare's global network.
- This group-level role will also support IHH Healthcare's senior leadership across three functional areas: IHH Laboratories, Group Innovation, and Group Sustainability. The role will drive high-impact initiatives aligned with IHH's strategic priorities.
1. Group Strategy & Business Development (GSBD)
- Support the Group Chief Corporate Officer (GCCO) in structuring, aligning, and executing key strategic initiatives across IHH Healthcare's global network.
- Consolidate strategic agendas from functions reporting to the GCCO and ensure alignment with overall IHH Group strategy.
- Lead IHH Labs strategy development and execution: develop new business opportunities (e.g. genomics, new geographies), manage management dashboards for KPI tracking, and drive operational improvement roadmaps.
- Support strategy development and transformation for key hospitals and business functions across the IHH network.
- Undertake special projects as directed by the GCCO to support IHH's strategic and transformation agenda.
2. Group Innovation
- Run investment processes end-to-end including due diligence and strategic validation.
- Work closely with the Innovation team and internal functions to assess strategic benefits and use cases.
- Review due diligence findings and address identified risks.
- Support Innovation portfolio companies in growth planning and synergy realization.
- Facilitate collaboration between portfolio companies and IHH business units across markets.
- Internal Capability Building
- ◦ Support the launch and management of internal Innovation programs.
3. Group Sustainability
- Support preparation for IFRS S1 (non-climate) disclosures targeted for FY2027.
- Assist in finalizing the double materiality assessment covering identification and evaluation of non-climate sustainability risks and opportunities.
- Support financial quantification approaches for prioritized material topics.
- Develop one pilot project each in Malaysia and Singapore aligned to IHH's 2030 environmental targets.
- Focus areas energy efficiency or waste management, leveraging operational experience and targeted partner engagement.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in healthcare strategy, transformation, or operational improvement.
- Strong ability to translate strategic direction into executable programs across complex, multi-market organizations.
- Strong analytical capability with experience in operational performance analysis and business case development.
- Familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks (IFRS S1/S2, GRI, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Experience in innovation investment processes or venture-style due diligence is a plus.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills ability to work across multiple countries and functions.
- Experience in health care systems, hospital operations, or healthcare consulting preferred.
