Trade Manager

Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion & Client Management

• Develop new markets and client resources maintain existing client relationships.
• Analyze industry trends and formulate regional market expansion strategies .

Trade Negotiation & Contract Execution

• Lead import/export trade negotiations coordinate pricing, delivery terms, payment conditions, etc.

• Manage end-to-end order execution (procurement, logistics, customs clearance, settlement).

Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination

• Optimize supply chains manage international logistics (sea/air freight), customs clearance, and warehousing.

• Handle trade compliance documentation (e.g., bills of lading, certificates of origin, insurance policies).

Risk Control & Compliance

• Monitor exchange rates, tariff policy changes, and develop risk response plans.

• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations (e.g., INCOTERMS, anti-dumping rules).

Team Management & Collaboration

• Lead the trade team coordinate with internal departments (finance, legal, production).

• Train new staff and enhance team professionalism.

III. Qualifications

1. Education & Experience

   • Bachelor's degree or higher in International Trade, Business English, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.

   • 5+ years of import/export trade experience, with industry expertise (e.g., electronics, commodities, FMCG).

2. Professional Knowledge

   • Proficient in international trade practices

   • Familiar with trade policies (e.g., free trade agreements, rules of origin).

3. Language & Skills

   • Fluent in English (working proficiency) knowledge of a second language preferred (e.g., Malay, Japanese).

   • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and data analysis tools.

4. Core Competencies

   • Strong negotiation skills, cross-cultural communication, and resilience under pressure.

   • Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CDCS, CITP).
