Job Description

  • Translate high-level requirements into detailed documentation within the organization's context
  • Review and work with SA (System Analyst) on functional specifications and prepare flowchart
  • Evaluate and analyse existing business processes and uncover areas for improvements
  • Define detailed business processes, spanning both online and offline aspects
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders in UOB to get detailed requirements and ensure that they are met through proposed solution
  • Work with the design team for requirements that require User Interface Design
  • Consult Solution Architect or System Analyst for technical requirements
  • Collaborate with GIS to ensure nonfunctional requirements effectively incorporate security requirements
  • Support the business pilot/live functionally
  • Review with Test Manager/Testers test cases and ensure requirements/solutions are tested.
  • Clarifications on defects raised during testing and ensure correct classification on defects
  • Impact assessments on Change request or scope creep
  • Functional Specification Documents Operational Impact Assessment
  • Detailed Test Case Review
  • Requirement Traceability and Change Management Documentation


Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.

Essential:

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in the banking or financial services industry, with at least 3-5 years as a functional business analyst or system analyst preferred
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and achieving strategic business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, services, and market dynamics within the banking sector.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex problems, and develop effective solutions.
  • Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements within the financial industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools, and the SDM process and testing tools

Key Domain/Technical Skills

  • Wealth or Private Banking experience
  • Knowledge of the regulatory changes, especially in the sales & advisory process
  • Strong knowledge of investment products
  • Experience in designing end-to-end workflows
