Responsibilities
- Lead group consolidation activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, intercompany eliminations, subsidiary submissions, and group management reporting
- Prepare and review full sets of consolidated financial statements in compliance with SFRS / IFRS and ACRA requirements
- Support group‑level budgeting and forecasting, consolidating inputs from business units and performing budget‑versus‑actual analysis
- Provide financial analysis and clear commentary on group financial performance to management
- Manage audits end‑to‑end, acting as the primary liaison with external auditors, preparing audit schedules, resolving technical queries, and overseeing statutory and banking‑related audits
- Oversee tax matters, including corporate tax compliance, transfer pricing, IRAS filings, and ad‑hoc initiatives such as group structure reviews
- Maintain and enhance accounting systems, policies, and SOPs; interpret new accounting standards and provide technical guidance to support group‑wide operations
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or related discipline with 5–8 years of relevant experience; audit background from Big 4 or reputable mid‑tier firms is preferred
- Strong hands‑on experience in group consolidation, financial statement preparation, and multi‑entity or regional reporting
- Solid technical knowledge of SFRS / IFRS; ACCA or CA (Singapore) qualification is advantageous
- Exposure to group budgeting or FP&A at a consolidated level is highly preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other major ERP / financial systems
- Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across functions in a dynamic group environment
