Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities related to topside modules (e.g., process, utility, electrical, living quarters).
- Monitor and verify structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, and HVAC installation in line with design drawings and project standards.
- Ensure all construction works comply with the latest IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings,specifications, and applicable codes.
- Interface with design engineering, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, commissioning, and operations teams to align construction progress.
- Track progress against schedule and report deviations or delays with corrective actions.
- Participate in constructability reviews, method statements, lift plans, and job safety analysis (JSA).
- Witness and verify completion of hydrostatic tests, pre-commissioning, and mechanical completion (MC) activities.
- Ensure all construction punch items are addressed and closed in coordination with discipline leads and commissioning teams.
- Maintain updated redline/as-built drawings and documentation for handover.
- Attend daily progress meetings and interface meetings with vendors, fabricators, and subcontractors.
- Ensure contractor compliance with project-specific HSE policies and procedures.
- Coordinate module load-out, sea fastening, and offshore integration support as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Structural, Electrical, or relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in offshore topsides construction, preferably on FPU, FPSO, or fixed platform projects.
- Hands-on experience in fabrication yards or offshore construction environments.
- Strong understanding of topside systems and interfaces (e.g., piping, E&I, structural).
- Familiar with international codes and standards (API, ASME, AWS, IEC, etc.).
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using construction management tools.
- Working knowledge of MC and commissioning processes (CMS systems a plus).
- Proven ability to work in a multicultural team in a high-pressure project environment
