Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Design, develop, execute and maintain automated and manual test cases, scripts and test suites
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System and User Acceptance Test
- Ensure the quality and timeliness in delivery of testing assignments
- Participate and lead the Internal Acceptance Test (IAT) and User Acceptance Test (UAT) when required
- Identify, document, and track defects using defect management tools (e.g. JIRA) and follow through to resolution
- Verify defect fixes
- Follow the test process and continuously improve the quality of the test process
- Ensure constructive working relationships within team and with customers
- Maintain knowledge of test methodologies
- Ensure good communication with customers
- Perform technical writing for the user manuals or other documentation as required
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Provide clear and comprehensive test documentation, reports, and test evidence
Skills and Abilities
- Sound knowledge of testing methodology
- Sound knowledge of SDLC methodology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Some programming and database knowledge
- Defect Management - Failure analysis and defects screening
- Able to work in shift during test execution-Knowledge of JIRA or similar application
- Experience testing with automation tools-Able to work independently and with people of all levels
- Manage the different priorities of tasks assigned to you and manage your own time.
Qualification:
- Diploma and above in Information Technology or a related field
- Experience in Software Testing, Test Planning, Test Case Creation, Defect Tracking, fresh graduates are welcome to apply as well
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the field of software testing.
