We're looking for an accomplished Technical Manager- Cloud to lead multi-cloud infrastructure operations across Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) - supporting both commercial clients and Singapore Government-appointed agencies.
This is a senior technical leadership position for someone who thrives on hands-on technical problem solving, team mentorship, and driving infrastructure excellence. You'll oversee large-scale cloud environments, security hardening initiatives, and modernization projects while leading a team of engineers across Linux and Windows ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
Multi-Cloud Architecture & Operations
- Lead the design, deployment, and management of secure, scalable architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Drive cloud migration, cost optimization, and performance initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with government and industry security standards (IM8, CIS, ISO 27001).
Technical Leadership
- Guide and mentor L2/L3 cloud and system engineers.
- Provide escalation support for complex incidents and lead root cause analysis.
- Champion automation, IaC (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM), and DevSecOps best practices.
Security & Compliance
- Implement CIS benchmark hardening, vulnerability remediation, and patch management across RHEL and Windows Server.
- Manage SSL/TLS, audit readiness, and security posture across multi-cloud environments.
Infrastructure as Code & Automation
- Lead IaC delivery pipelines and GitOps practices.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and operational workflows.
Service Delivery & Stakeholder Management
- Oversee ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and InfoSec teams.
- Deliver transparent communication during incidents and change cycles.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on multi-cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven leadership in 24/7 production environments and regulated sectors (public sector, finance, healthcare).
Technical Expertise
- Advanced Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu) & Windows Server administration.
- Deep experience with cloud-native services (EKS/AKS/GKE, Lambda, Cloud Functions, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Security hardening (CIS, SOC 2, ISO 27001) and patch automation tools (AWS SSM, Azure Update Mgmt, SCCM).
- IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM templates.
- Monitoring: CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
- CI/CD and DevSecOps practices (e.g., SHIP-HATS, container scanning, automated pipelines).
