Job Summary
Seeking an accomplished Cloud Technical Manager with deep expertise across multi-cloud platforms to lead cloud infrastructure operations for commercial and government-regulated environments. This senior technical leadership role requires hands-on experience managing complex cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP), advanced Linux and Windows administration, and strong stakeholder management skills. The role focuses on driving operational excellence, security hardening, and infrastructure modernization.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-Cloud Leadership & Architecture: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP lead migration initiatives and cost optimization strategies.
- Technical Team Leadership: Mentor L2/L3 engineers, conduct design/code reviews, and act as escalation point for complex issues.
- OS Lifecycle & Patch Management: Oversee enterprise-wide patching for Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server environments ensure compliance and audit readiness.
- Security & Compliance: Implement CIS benchmarks, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, IM8).
- Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Drive IaC initiatives using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, and ARM templates integrate CI/CD pipelines.
- ITIL & Service Delivery: Manage incident, problem, and change processes optimize ITSM workflows using ServiceNow/Jira.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as technical liaison, provide clear communication to technical and non-technical audiences, and manage vendor relationships.
- Containerization & DevSecOps: Lead Kubernetes and Docker initiatives integrate security scanning in CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitoring & Performance Optimization: Implement observability strategies using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, and GCP tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years in cloud/infrastructure engineering with leadership experience.
- Hands-on expertise in AWS, Azure, and GCP advanced Linux and Windows administration.
- Strong knowledge of security hardening, IaC, container orchestration, and ITIL processes.
- Preferred certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, Google Cloud Architect, RHCE, ITIL v4, CKA.
