Job Description

Role Objective

To provide technical expertise, support, and solutions that ensure smooth operations, enhance product performance, and deliver value to customers. The role bridges technical knowledge with business needs by assisting in product application, troubleshooting, and supporting sales and service teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support & Advisory
    Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to customers and internal teams.
    Recommend suitable products, solutions, or alternatives based on customer requirements.
    Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for clients and staff.
  • Product & Solution Management
    Assist in evaluating, testing, and implementing new products and technologies.
    Maintain accurate product knowledge and stay updated on industry trends.
    Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers for technical clarifications.
  • Customer Service & Troubleshooting
    Respond to customer inquiries and resolve technical issues efficiently.
    Provide hands-on troubleshooting, repair coordination, and after-sales support.
    Ensure customer satisfaction through timely and accurate technical assistance.
  • Documentation & Compliance
    Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and supporting documents.
    Maintain records of product specifications, testing results, and service reports.
    Ensure compliance with company quality standards and industry regulations.
  • Collaboration & Coordination
    Support sales and business development teams in securing new accounts.
    Liaise with operations, logistics, and procurement to ensure seamless project execution.
    Participate in internal improvement initiatives and cross-department projects.

Key Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical discipline.
  • Strong technical aptitude with problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in a technical support, sales engineering, or product application role is an advantage.
