Manager Technical Service & Customer Support
Location: Tuas, Singapore
We follow a hybrid work model, typically three days per week in the office and allowing two days per week of remote work.

Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for service sales in the engine and machinery sector We are looking for a Manager Technical Service & Customer Support to take charge of both local operations in Singapore and regional dealer/OEM management across Southeast Asia. This role reports directly to the Chief Sales Officer APAC.
Youll manage our Singapore-based service workshop and field service team while driving growth through strong regional partnerships, technical expertise, and service excellence. If you enjoy combining hands-on leadership with strategic sales management, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day workshop and field service operations, ensuring all maintenance, repair, overhaul, and inspection work on engines, gensets, and related equipment meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency
- Ensure effective workflow and resource allocation, acting as the primary point of contact for service requests and maintaining responsive communication with customers and dealers across Southeast Asia
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of service engineers and technicians, supervising troubleshooting, diagnostics, and technical training while fostering a culture of accountability and customer focus
- Oversee the effective use of engine diagnostic tools to support accurate fault identification, repair decisions, and training for technicians and dealers
- Monitor service department performance against revenue, quality, and customer satisfaction targets; oversee service documentation, databases, and reporting in line with headquarters requirements
- Manage warranty claims and OEM/dealer relationships, ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining strong regional partnerships
- Conduct regular dealer visits to evaluate performance against DEUTZ standards, advise on workshop/service improvements, and gather feedback from technicians and customers to strengthen product support
- Identify and convert new service business opportunities by tailoring offerings to customer needs and enhancing aftersales value propositions
- Act as the regional interface for customer engineering topics, collaborating closely with Deutz AG in Germany to ensure alignment on technical requirements and solutions
- Manage office and workshop facilities to ensure a safe, efficient, and professional working environment
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field
- 57 years of service management, technical operations, or aftersales experience in Southeast Asia, ideally with industrial engines, power solutions, or off-highway machinery
- Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing service teams (workshop and field)
- Solid technical knowledge of engines, gensets, and related equipment, with ability to oversee troubleshooting and diagnostics and the application of engine diagnostic tools
- Experience in managing OEM and dealer networks, including performance evaluation and service quality improvements
- Strong business acumen with skills in service sales, forecasting, KPI tracking, and process improvement
- Proficiency with ERP systems and service documentation standards
- Excellent communication and influencing skills in English; additional Southeast Asian languages are an advantage
- Ability to work across cultures and collaborate effectively with regional teams, dealers, and headquarters
