    Our client is a well-established multinational company with a strong presence across Asia. They are currently seeking a hands-on and independent Tax Compliance Manager to oversee tax matters across their Thailand and Indonesia subsidiaries, as well as other regional entities.

    This is a high-impact role for a professional who is ready to take ownership of regional tax functions, including BEPS 2.0 readiness, transfer pricing, and close collaboration with the Japan headquarters within a dynamic international environment.

    【 Responsibilities 】
    - Lead all tax compliance, reporting, and advisory functions for Thailand and Indonesia
    - Drive BEPS 2.0 (Pillar Two) readiness from impact assessment through implementation
    - Oversee transfer pricing policies and documentation to ensure full local compliance
    - Liaise with Japan HQ and external advisors on regional tax matters as the primary point of contact
    - Identify tax risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure audit readiness and tax optimization
    - Align local tax practices with Group policies and global tax strategies
    - Support monthly monitoring discussions and provide financial insights for subsidiaries

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【 Requirements & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field (CPA, CTA, or equivalent preferred)
    - 6-8 years of tax experience in an MNC or regional role
    - Proven ability to independently manage multi-country tax compliance
    - Proficient in JLPT N2 or above, with the ability to communicate effectively with Japan Headquarters

    (Advantageous)
    - Exposure to Japan HQ and/or Japanese tax regulations is a strong advantage
    - Highly analytical, detail-oriented, with strong stakeholder management skills
