Job Summary:
To manage in-house end-to-end recruitment and Work Pass processing for all operational and support roles in the Transportation Company. The role includes proactively identifying talent engagement and retention as key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment for drivers and non-driver positions across operations, maintenance, and corporate functions.
- Develop job description and role-specific sourcing strategies (blue-collar, technical, and professional hiring).
- Conduct competency-based interviews and coordinate trade tests/licence verification where applicable.
Manpower Planning
- Work with Operations, Maintenance, and Management to forecast manpower needs.
- Support fleet expansion, new route tenders, and peak-period ramp-ups.
Employer Branding & Pipeline
- Build the company's reputation as an employer of choice among drivers and transport professionals.
- Maintain long-term candidate pools for critical roles.
Retention & Engagement
- Implement retention programs for drivers and key operational staff.
- Conduct exit interviews and attrition analysis.
- Support payroll and HR Operations when necessary.
Qualification & Skills Requirements:
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- At least 2 years of recruitment experience with a licensed Employment Agency, preferably handling blue-collar, technical, or operations roles.
- Certified Employment Intermediary (CEI KAR) or Individual Employment Agency Licence is mandatory.
- Good working knowledge of Singapore Employment Act, MOM Work Pass framework (WP, S-Pass, EP), quota, and levy rules.
- Exposure to payroll processing and basic HR operations will be an added advantage.
