Sustainability AVP (ESG, 6 Months) #ESY

Executing Sustainability initiatives, reporting and stakeholder engagement

. Support Sustainability projects and initiatives in line with Sustainability strategy, including developing and executing Net Zero transition plans to reduce our GHG emissions for our operations and investments.

. Draft and prepare reports and presentations to CEO, Sustainability Management Committee, Board Sustainability Committee & external stakeholders on a regular basis

. Drive sustainability reporting processes with different business functions and prepare annual Sustainability Reports which align to international reporting frameworks and standards (e.g. ISSB, GRI, etc.)

. Monitor and coordinate the ESG data collation process to enable consolidated dashboard reporting to stakeholders

. Providing input and support for monitoring Environmental Risk profile, including preparation of Risk reports in line with MAS ENRM & TPG guidelines

. Support the assessment of our key suppliers sustainability practices and performance in line with our internal guidance

. Establish and coordinate ESG related memberships with external parties (e.g. COG-NVPC, UN PSI etc.)

Social sustainability

. Develop and implement sustainability training and communication plans and organizing activities for employees to promote sustainability culture within the Group

. Support diversity and inclusion initiatives within the organization in collaboration with People Function

. Develop and execute on our community strategy in collaboration with various stakeholders to maximise and measure our social impact, including developing products, solutions & community partnerships that help to address a key social or community need

. Manage the relationships with strategic community partners/NGOs/ Government agencies and update stakeholders on key developments.

ESG research, sustainable products & Industry engagement

. Research key global and local trends on sustainability and the implications for businesses (eg. ISSB, COP developments, peers) including trends on sustainable insurance products innovation

. To track, monitor and advise on any relevant ESG related international &/or local regulations including MAS Environmental risk management and Transition Planning Guidelines

. Support engagement with various industry bodies and trade associations to promote and drive sustainability objectives aligned to sustainability strategy

Experience

. Minimum 3 years of work experience in sustainability, either in the environmental or social domain, including experience with environmental risk management. Having past experience in the insurance or financial services industry would be preferred.

. Record in developing a community strategy and/or establishing community partnerships, projects and initiatives, organizing community activities. Experience in social impact measurement would be an advantage

. Good understanding of sustainability reporting processes and standards. Experience in sustainability reporting would be an advantage

Education

. Academic: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Sustainability related areas, eg. Environmental studies, Business administration,Finance, Economics or Social Science (preferred)

. Any other Sustainability, Risk &/or ESG related certifications (eg. GARP SCR, CDSP, GRI)
