SUPERVISOR

Job Description

The Construction Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily construction activities at the worksite and ensuring that all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervise and coordinate daily work activities of construction workers and subcontractors.

• Ensure all work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.

• Monitor worker performance and maintain discipline at the construction site.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and site safety procedures.

• Assist the Site Manager in planning and organizing construction tasks.

• Check materials delivered to the site and ensure proper usage.

• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control.

• Report daily progress, delays, or issues to the Site Manager or Project Manager.

• Ensure tools, equipment, and machinery are used properly and safely.

• Resolve minor site issues and coordinate with workers to maintain smooth operations.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or relevant certification in Construction / Civil Engineering (preferred).

• At least 2-4 years of experience in construction site supervision.

• Good knowledge of construction methods, tools, and safety procedures.

• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and site instructions.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in building construction or infrastructure projects.

• Knowledge of workplace safety and site management practices.

• Ability to manage workers from different nationalities.
