The role
We are looking for a Senior Executive, QA/QC to join our Product Operations team and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products across our vendor base.
This role will oversee both Quality Control (QC) operations and Quality Assurance (QA) initiatives, working closely with internal teams and external vendors to maintain quality standards from development through to bulk production and final inspection.
You will play an important role in identifying quality risks early, improving vendor performance, and strengthening quality processes across the production lifecycle.
Main responsibilities :
Quality Control (QC) - Operational Quality Management
- Manage bulk sample approvals and ensure garments meet quality standards before delivery
- Review final inspection reports and monitor vendor inspection performance
- Investigate quality defects and customer feedback, identifying root causes and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance for washcare labels, trims, and packaging
- Work closely with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues quickly
Quality Assurance (QA) - Process & Vendor Quality Improvement
- Support development of quality standards, SOPs, and vendor guidelines
- Track defect trends and vendor quality performance
- Drive improvements through vendor feedback and quality performance reviews
- Support implementation of internal quality audit frameworks and compliance processes
- Identify opportunities to strengthen preventive quality management
- Support implementation of vendor compliance and sustainability initiatives, including internal audit frameworks and responsible manufacturing standards
Data & Reporting
- Track quality performance using systems and dashboards
- Analyse defect trends and vendor performance data
- Improve visibility of quality metrics across teams
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Partner with Sourcing, Production, Materials, and Product Development teams to ensure quality standards are aligned across the product lifecycle
- Support vendor alignment during pre & bulk production and stages
- Work closely with vendors to drive continuous quality improvements
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience in apparel quality management, garment production, or factory technical roles
- Experience working with garment factories, vendor quality management, or third-party inspections
- Prior experience in fashion or apparel production environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and apparel quality standards
- Familiarity with QC inspections and quality defect management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
- Comfortable working with data and reporting tools (Excel, Air Table, Metabase)
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin ( Both Spoken & Written ), with the ability to communicate effectively with overseas vendors and manufacturing partners
- Interest in sustainability and responsible manufacturing practices within the fashion supply chain
