MIDNIGHTSHIFT LOGISTICS OPERATIONS

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

. Manage and oversee end-to-end logistics operations including warehousing, transportation, and distribution across multiple shifts

. Ensure operational continuity during day and night shifts, weekends, and public holidays

. Monitor operational performance to meet OTIF, SLA, productivity, and cost targets

. Investigate operational issues using root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions

. Apply engineering and process improvement principles to optimize workflows, layout, and resource utilization

. Support equipment and material handling systems (e.g. conveyors, MHE) in coordination with engineering or maintenance teams

. Coordinate manpower planning, shift scheduling, and on-site operations staff

. Supervise operations personnel to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, and quality standards

. Work closely with 3PL partners, transporters, and vendors to maintain service performance

. Utilize WMS / TMS / ERP systems to manage operations and ensure data accuracy

. Prepare operational reports and analyze data using Excel or BI tools

. Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Customer Service, Sales, Finance) to support business requirements

. Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and regulatory requirements

. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost optimization projects

Requirements

. Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline

. 2-5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or operations roles

. Basic engineering background with understanding of process flow, equipment, or systems

. Experience in process improvement, troubleshooting, or operations optimization

. Ability to work in a rotating shift environment, including night shifts and weekends

. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

. Familiarity with WMS / TMS / SAP / ERP systems

. Proficient in Microsoft Excel Power BI or basic data analysis skills are an advantage

. Good command of spoken and written English

. Willingness to work shift hours, weekends, and public holidays as required
