The Opportunity

Our client is a Singapore-based plant-based food brand dedicated to creating sustainably nutritious alternatives. Established in 2020, the company develops allergen-free products including dairy-free cheese and egg alternatives, with protein sourced from climate-friendly pulses such as peas, faba beans, and mung beans. Its product range features Singapore's first locally developed, nut-free plant-based cheese line, alongside a plant protein block and cholesterol-free egg alternative. All products are manufactured locally and formulated to be GMO-free, soy-free, and high in protein. Backed by a parent company with over 50 years of global agri-commodity expertise and operations across 50 countries, the brand leverages strong agricultural knowledge and research partnerships. Its products are available through major retail and food service channels. They are currently seeking a driven Sales Executive in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and onboard new B2B accounts including supermarkets, cafés, restaurants and corporate canteens.
  • Drive B2C sales through e‑commerce platforms, farmers markets, pop‑up events and community activations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, distributors and food service partners.
  • Conduct product sampling and brand education sessions to convert trial into repeat purchase.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotions and supply agreements to secure repeat orders and expand shelf space.
  • Maintain sales pipeline, prepare weekly reports and coordinate with operations for timely order fulfilment.

Requirements:

  • Diploma and above in Business, Marketing, Sales or other related disciplines
  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience, preferably in downstream food, plant-based/alternative protein or FMCG food industries
  • Proven ability to manage both B2B accounts and B2C engagement activities
  • Strong negotiation, communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, basic Excel reporting and order management processes.
  • Self‑starter able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
