About the role

As a Software DevOps Architect, you will design and build custom integrations, automation services and platform components that make the SDLC toolchain scalable, secure and efficient.

Acting as a developer platform product engineer, you will remove manual effort, reduce human error and improve productivity by translating operational pain points into robust, Python‑based automation and services. You'll work across software, embedded, hardware and power systems engineering teams to deliver reliable, self‑service tooling.

Key responsibilities include:

• Shaping solutions by analysing workflows, support tickets and tooling gaps
• Designing maintainable architectures for automation services, middleware and self‑service platforms
• Building resilient integrations across SDLC tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, CI, SonarQube, Artifactory and BlackDuck
• Automating repetitive operational tasks to reduce toil and reliance on administrators
• Developing reusable CI/CD pipeline components and providing advisory support to engineering teams

About you

• Strong Python development experience (automation, APIs, backend services)
• Solid understanding of SDLC tooling and CI/CD principles
• Experience designing and operating automation services and integrations
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and secure development practices
• Ability to design clear, observable and maintainable architectures
• Analytical, pragmatic and curious
• Enjoys simplifying complexity and removing friction
• Collaborative, hands‑on and comfortable working with engineering teams
• Clear communicator with a strong improvement mindset
• Experience with event‑driven architectures
• Exposure to regulated or compliance‑driven environments
• Experience building developer‑facing portals or platforms
