Job Description
- Develop and optimise visual SLAM algorithms for industrial applications.
- Analyse and integrate sensor data, including cameras, LiDAR, and IMUs, into the SLAM framework.
- Research and implement advanced techniques to improve localisation and mapping accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy SLAM solutions into production systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the technology team.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in visual SLAM and related technologies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Lead / Senior Visual SLAM Engineer should have:
- A strong academic background in computer science, robotics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in visual SLAM, computer vision, or robotics algorithms.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
- Experience with sensor integration, including cameras, LiDAR, and IMUs.
- Familiarity with frameworks and libraries such as ROS, OpenCV, or PCL.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly.
