Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision & Coordination
- Assist the Project Manager in supervising daily construction activities on site.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth site operations.
- Ensure construction works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
Quality Control
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet quality standards.
- Identify, report, and rectify non-conformance issues promptly.
- Ensure proper implementation of quality control procedures on site.
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce site safety rules and ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies.
- Participate in toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and site safety inspections.
- Report safety incidents and assist in corrective and preventive actions.
Technical & Documentation Support
- Provide technical support to site teams and subcontractors.
- Assist in reviewing shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.
- Prepare and maintain site documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, and progress updates.
Progress Monitoring
- Monitor daily work progress, manpower deployment, and productivity.
- Assist in tracking project schedules and identifying potential delays.
Coordination with Consultants & Authorities
- Liaise with consultants on technical matters and site inspections.
- Support coordination with relevant authorities for inspections, approvals, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Candidates with at least 2 years of relevant site experience in the construction industry.
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and under site-based pressure.
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with BIM or construction software is an advantage.
- Knowledge of local building regulations and WSH requirements (for Singapore projects).
