About the Opportunity:

Navsar Global is partnering with a leading client on a monumental project at the Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) in Tuas, Singapore. This state-of-the-art facility is a cornerstone of Singapore's sustainable future, integrating various waste treatment technologies under one roof. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Site Engineer to join our client's dedicated team for a critical 1-year contract. Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all electrical installation works on-site, ensuring adherence to project specifications, design drawings, and relevant industry standards.

Supervise contractors and sub-contractors, ensuring quality of workmanship, progress, and compliance with safety regulations and project timelines.

Conduct regular site inspections, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain project schedule and quality.

Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and work permits related to electrical installations.

Coordinate closely with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, instrumentation) to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.

Participate in the testing and commissioning of electrical systems, including MV/LV switchgear, transformers, motors, control panels, cabling, lighting, and earthing systems.

Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, maintain accurate site records, and manage documentation related to electrical works.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the installation and commissioning phases.

Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on site.

Liaise with the client, consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as an Electrical Site Engineer on large-scale industrial, infrastructure, power generation, data centre, or waste-to-energy projects.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, including MV/LV distribution, control systems, earthing, lightning protection, and instrumentation.

Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., IEC, BS, SS).

Ability to read, interpret, and review electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and layout drawings.

Demonstrated ability to supervise site activities, manage contractors, and ensure quality control.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to site challenges.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite experience with project management software is a plus.

A commitment to safety and a strong understanding of site safety protocols.
