Coordinate with consultants, M&E subcontractors and suppliers on shop drawings, samples, method statements and technical submissions, ensuring all parties are updated on the latest revisions and requirements.
Verify M&E works carried out on site against approved drawings, specifications, codes and relevant authorities requirements.
Monitor site installation and workmanship to ensure compliance with project requirements, approved submissions and construction schedules.
Identify non-compliant or defective works and ensure M&E subcontractors carry out the necessary rectification works within the required timeframe.
Conduct regular coordination and M&E meetings with subcontractors to monitor work progress, sequencing and site activities.
Coordinate M&E works with other trades and site teams to minimise clashes, rework and disruption to construction activities.
Resolve technical and site issues with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers promptly to minimise delays to project progress.
Attend project and technical meetings with owners, consultants, subcontractors and other stakeholders, and follow up on outstanding technical matters and site issues.
Monitor M&E work progress and coordinate with the project team to ensure works are completed according to the agreed construction programme.
Liaise closely with the site team to ensure proper work sequencing and smooth execution of M&E activities.
Coordinate testing, inspection, commissioning and other M&E-related activities as required by the project.
Maintain proper records of inspections, technical submissions, site issues, rectification works and other relevant project documentation.
Work closely with the safety team and comply with all project safety requirements, including Permit-to-Work procedures and other site safety controls.
Carry out other M&E engineering and project-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or management.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, M&E Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in M&E construction/services.
Experience working in the M&E department of a Main Contractor or M&E Subcontractor is preferred.
Practical experience in M&E installation, site coordination, inspection and construction activities.
Familiarity with shop drawings, specifications, method statements and technical submissions.
Good understanding of M&E construction coordination and site work sequencing.
Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.
Good knowledge of relevant Singapore building regulations, codes and authorities requirements will be an advantage.
Strong problem-solving and technical coordination skills, with the ability to resolve site issues promptly.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.
Willing to work on construction sites and operate within the project's safety requirements.
