Source, negotiate, and manage freight forwarders and logistics service providers for local and overseas deliveries
Prepare and process logistics and purchase requisitions in accordance with operational requirements
Monitor freight forwarder and plant logistics performance, while supporting continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives
Coordinate with Purchasing, Plant Logistics, HSE, suppliers, vendors, and shipping agents to ensure timely delivery of goods according to project schedules and purchase orders
Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including Letter of Credit (LC) documents, Certificate of Origin, insurance documentation, delivery orders, packing lists, commercial invoices, and related reports
Liaise with Finance on shipping payments, invoice processing, warranty matters, and LC negotiations
Monitor delivery schedules and update shipment status in the system on a regular basis
Work closely with Customer Service, Material Planning, Purchasing, and Project teams to support order fulfillment and contractual commitments
Prepare logistics activity and cost reports for management review
Coordinate with marine surveyors and internal quality teams on delivery inspections and expediting activities
Participate in logistics, supply chain, and project meetings as required
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and logistics partners regarding shipment and delivery status
Support ad-hoc projects and operational duties assigned by management
Participate in workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) initiatives, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and compliance with company policies and local regulations
Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related discipline
Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping coordination, or supply chain operations will be an advantage
Familiarity with ERP systems such as AX or other logistics/documentation software is preferred
Exposure to import/export documentation and Letter of Credit (LC) handling will be an advantage
