Role Description The ServiceNow Developer at Gegnat Inc. will design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications and modules to meet client business requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing workflows, business rules, and integrations, customizing forms and UI components, and maintaining platform performance and security. The role involves collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting issues, and preparing documentation for configurations and enhancements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring close coordination with cross-functional teams and participation in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development for building, integrating, and maintaining ServiceNow modules and related services.
- Hands-on Programming experience using languages commonly associated with ServiceNow (such as JavaScript), including scripting and API integration.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) for designing scalable, maintainable, and reusable components.
- Experience with ServiceNow platform configuration and customization (forms, workflows, business rules, client/server scripts).
- Ability to analyze requirements, document technical solutions, and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with ITSM, ITIL processes, and enterprise IT environments; ServiceNow certifications are an advantage.
